Theresa Renee Chevalier

Theresa Renee Chevalier, the baby girl of six children from Harry and Christine Chevalier, passed away on July 5, 2021, at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She is now embracing and illuminating the other side with her spunky and passionate style. In 1962 when the doctors told our mother she had a little baby girl weighing 2lbs 14 oz, no one, including the doctors, thought that little girl would go home from the hospital. What they failed to realize was that little girl was the toughest, most stubborn, and passionate person they would have in that hospital for many years to come. Theresa Renee Chevalier, an elegant and regal name that is as lyrical in sound as much as it is in the reflection of her life, proved them wrong by gracing us with her presence for 59 years! Theresa may have been petite in size but huge in her sense of boldness, power, and compassion. Those who knew her, loved her for her candid - tell it like it is style and knew she loved you undeniably but could slap you in the face (metaphorically speaking😊) when she did not like something. But this is what helped our sister to thrive despite her many health struggles for most of her life. She was passionate about many things and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia was at the top of her list. Her home was abounding with much of it. Her greatest passion was the people in her life. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren, whom she adored. Her home was filled with many comforts and toys for them. Theresa was a feisty and spirited woman with a big heart. She was loved and adored by so many and had a wonderful tribe of true friends in her neighborhood where they looked after her as much as she did them. Besides her five grandchildren, Theresa is survived by her daughter, Miracyle Thompson, her sister Elizabeth Jende Chevalier, brothers: Jacques, Louis, and Kenny and her loving Chihuahua – Ms. Brittany. She is predeceased by her parents, Christine and Harry Chevalier and sisters Deborah and Darlene Chevalier.
