Patricia Ann Richardson

Patricia Ann Richardson, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished sister, and dedicated educator, passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2024, in Catonsville, Maryland. Born on June 11th, 1938, to Leo S. Blair and Drusilla M. Blair (née Wroten), Patricia lived a life filled with love, warmth, and dedication to both family and her passion for teaching.

Patricia was the devoted wife of the late Carl S. Richardson, whom she proudly supported as a military wife for 20 years. Together, they traveled the country, during which Patricia taught at many schools, touching the lives of countless students. A proud graduate of Western Maryland College, Patricia’s love for learning and teaching was a cornerstone of her life.

She was the loving mother of Jo Ann Kruger and the cherished sister of Jane Helweick and Rebecca Powell. Patricia is also survived by a host of extended family and friends who adored her.

An avid reader, Patricia had a deep love for anything related to the Civil War and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Though she led a quiet and easy-going life, her kindness and gentle spirit left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 21st, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at MacNabb Funeral Home, P.A., 301 Frederick Road, Catonsville, Maryland 21228. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at MacNabb Funeral Home, P.A., with interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Baltimore National Cemetery.

Patricia will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew her.
