Judith Marie Amorosi

Judith “Judy" M. Amorosi passed away Sunday October 3, 2021, at the age of 83. Judy was born in Uniontown, PA on January 21, 1938. The daughter of Cecil Marella and Bernice Hermada of New Salem, PA. Judy graduated from Redstone High School in Brownsville, PA. She worked for Republic Sportswear in Republic, PA where she became an accomplished seamstress. She loved to garden and make custom doll clothes. She was a dedicated Jehovah's Witness and was a member of the Carmichaels, PA congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Judy married Harry Amorosi of West Newton, PA in 1967 and was his wife until his passing in 2011. She resided at their home In Rices Landing, PA until she suffered a stroke in 2016. She then relocated to Catonsville, MD and was a resident of Glynn Taff Assisted Living and Ridgway Manor Nursing Home in Catonsville, MD. Judy is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Bernice Marella, and siblings Richard Marella, Helen Johns, Anita Torok, and Sylvia Lauterbach. She is survived by her son Michael Amorosi, his wife Kathy, grandchildren Brandon and Kaylee , all of Catonsville, MD. She has one surviving sibling Christine Marella of New Salem, PA. Numerous surviving Nieces and Nephews. Judy was interred at Greene County Memorial Park in Waynesburg, PA on October 11, 2021 where she will rest next to her husband Harry.
