It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John Arthur Cheadle, born August 7th, 1945, (79), beloved husband and loving father, on Friday, October 25th, 2024. John dedicated his life to advancing equality, opportunity, and security for the nation’s blind and to serving his community. An antique car enthusiast and accomplished woodworker, John could build or fix just about anything. John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara; son John (Amy) Cheadle Rich; son Charles (Emily) Cheadle and grandsons Francis and Finbar; daughter Anna Rose and grandson Wilf Hughes.
A green burial and graveside service will be held at Serenity Ridge Cemetery on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00am. With a reception and sharing of memories to follow at Christian Temple at 12;30pm.
