Joaquim leaves behind his devoted wife, Edit E. Lopes, and his six children, whom he cherished above all else. He was the epitome of a loving and devoted father - his children were his pride and joy, and he was undeniably the best dad in their eyes.

As one of seven siblings, Joaquim shared a special bond with his brothers and sisters, and his passing leaves a void that will be felt deeply within their close-knit family.

Joaquim's passions were as diverse as they were numerous. He had an unwavering love for soccer, spending countless hours both playing and watching the beautiful game. His skills in the kitchen and at the grill were renowned, and he found immense joy in sharing his culinary creations with family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2nd, 2024, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a service starting promptly at 8:00pm at the MacNabb Funeral Home, P.A located at 301 Frederick Road Catonsville, Maryland 21228. The family requests to aid with parking that those who can carpool please do so.

The world has lost a truly exceptional individual, and Joaquim's absence will be deeply felt. His memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
