Jeffrey Bird

On Wednesday, December 22, 2021, Jeffrey Bird, loving husband and father of four children passed away at the age of 60. Jeff was born in Baltimore in on March 2, 1961, to Ellie and Frank Bird, Sr. He graduated from Mount Saint Joseph High School and Towson State University. During college, he took a summer job jackhammering asphalt at Brawner Builders along with one of his best friends, Jack. Together, they worked their way up to executive positions over the next several decades, growing the company exponentially. Jeff raised four children: two from his first marriage, Erik and Carrie; and two with his wife Tracy Bittel (married in 1993), Joey and Dylan. Jeff loved family, his work at Brawner Builders, the Ravens, lacrosse, cigars, golf and the ocean. He was a wise, humble, loyal, generous and kind man who was respected and loved by many. His family, friends, and colleagues will remember his talent for bringing the best out of those who he brought together. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Tracy; his four children, Erik (married to Courtney), Carrie, Joey, and Dylan; his two brothers, Frank (married to Jinny) and Carl (married to Hope). He is also survived by his two grandchildren, and his four nieces and nephews. In keeping with Jeff’s wishes, his ashes will be spread in a few of his favorite places.
