Ingrid Irmgard Kleinsorg(ne: Junker) went home to be with Lord on June 4th, 2021. Her husband Horst Kleinsorg preceded her in death in 2000. She was the mother to Joachim Kleinsorg “Yogi” whom passed in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Kornelia Gracia and Jeff Jones, her grandsons Nicholas, (Marie) and Terence Gracia, her granddaughter Casandra passed in March 2021. She leaves 3 great grandchildren, Kyla, TJ and Kelsey. Ingrid was born on June 21, 1936 in Schwerte, Germany. to Curt and Elfriedel Junker(ne: Kallauch), she was the sister of Hans Jürgen Junker and Adelheid Pannenbecker (ne: Junker) (Rolf) She and Horst left Germany in 1963 to live in Algiers, with the German Air Attaché, subsequently moving to the United States in 1965, where they chose to immigrate to. Later they ran an Import Export Business. They resided in Bethesda and Potomac, Maryland since arriving in the United States. Later they had a horse farm in Poolesville, Md, having imported Trakehners and Hanoverians from Germany. They subsequently moved to Annapolis, where they built a house in Arundel on the Bay, while living in Annapolis Ingrid and Horst restored a 52’ Formosa built sailboat, “The Westphalia” which they sailed on for 22 months. They moved to Lusby, Maryland and lived there for numerous years. After her husband passed, Ingrid relocated to Brooklyn, Md. to be closer to family. Her passions included cooking and entertaining, she loved to garden, knit, crochet, many, many crafts. She was very active in Zion Lutheran Church in Baltimore, until recent years. She was always kind and gracious. She will be interned at Zion Lutheran Church, a memorial service celebrating her life will be scheduled at a later date.
