Glenda Thompson

Glenda (Mom Mom, Grandmom, Nan, Mo) Thompson was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Glenda’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Glenda passed away on June 3, 2021 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. She was born to Myrtle and Raymond Ladd on August 20, 1951. After graduating from high school, Glenda chased her dreams to start a family and a career. She married and had two children, Robert and Chrissy. Glenda loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family as well as hosting holidays and vacations. All this while raising to the level of HR manager at a local business. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Glenda. She loved a quiet evening with friends and a coffee in hand. She had a green thumb and enjoyed growing and gifting flowers and plants to her neighbors, friends and family. Glenda is survived by her partner, Gary Mooney; son, Robert Thompson and wife Susan; daughter Chrissy; sister, Peggy Navarre and husband Mike; brother, Allen Ladd and wife Jo Ann; and many grandchildren; Erica McChristian; Anthony, Isabella and Alexis Thompson; Lucas Walker; Terri and Lilli Gonce; and many nieces, and nephews.
