Ellis Herbert Ghee

LIFE REFLECTIONS

Ellis Herbert Ghee was born to

Minnie Lee (Ghee) Fooks and the late

Earl Randolph Ghee Sr. in Baltimore

at City Hospital on October 28, 1956

and graduated from Walbrook High

School. Ellis always deemed himself as

an entrepreneur. He had a carpet

cleaning business, was a maintenance

supervisor, had his own hot dog stand

and distributed various snacks. He

also worked at Capital beverage.

He was the third out of his siblings.

Growing up, he used to tease his

brothers and sisters that he was “the

favorite child” because he was named

after two uncles. As a child he had a

german shepard named Tyke and had

various small pets. He loved to dress

nicely. Ellis always had a calm

demeanor and was a very low key

person. On July 12, 1975 he married

Beverly Gwynn. Out of this union

three children were born, Kira,

Gregory and Jason Ghee, whom he

loved dearly.

In the memory of his cherished loved

ones, he leaves to mourn his three

close children. A daughter Kira Brandi

Ghee. Her children: Khalil, Daron Jr,

Keyera, Kevon and a great

granddaughter Azora. A son Gregory

Bryon Ghee. His children: Maconio,

Ty'Quiera, Dai-ana, Eliakim, Jaishar

and Jae'sanni. And the youngest son

Jason Taavon Ghee. His children:

Nevaeh, Jayden, Janiyah and

Jeremiah. He has two sisters Valerie

Copes and Octavia Ghee. His mother

Minnie L Fooks. Preceding him in

death his father Earl Sr, and two

brothers Earl Jr and Eric
