Edward “Kenny” Mears, 47, of Baltimore, MD tragically and unexpectedly passed away on July 29th, 2021. Kenny was born June 10th, 1974, to Gloria and Jackson Mears, and was the devoted husband to Meghan and loving father to Grace Mears. Kenny served in the U.S. Army and was very proud of his American and Irish heritage, as well as also being a happy-go-lucky guy always lighting up the room wherever he went. Kenny was very athletic, always playing multiple sports, loved working out, and he was the ultimate Baltimore Ravens fan. Nature was also an important part of Kenny’s life – he loved going on walks, all things green, the beach, swimming and going to Stoney Creek. Taking his daughter Grace to the park and on adventures was one of his favorite things in the world. He had recently joined Grace Baptist Bible Church and enjoyed going to Sunday services there. Kenny was a generous man who would give anyone the shirt off his back. He was a hard worker, a true friend, family oriented and built a beautiful, successful, and happy life with his supportive, loyal, and loving wife Meghan and their beautiful three-year-old daughter Gracie. Gracie and Meghan were the lights of his life who he would do anything for. Kenny was an avid reader and history buff always researching American history as well as his own family lineage. Kenny is survived by his wife Meghan, daughter Grace, sons Joseph and Michael, mother Gloria, brother Chad, sister Gloria, and granddaughter Ayvleen. Also survived by mothers-in-law Barbara and Dorie, and brother-in-law Dan and many other extended family members and friends. He is missed dearly and loved tremendously. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Go-Fund-Me account to help with funeral expenses and financial stability for Kenny’s three-year-old daughter Gracie.
