Edgar George Brockmeyer, Jr, of Perry Hall Maryland passed away peacefully on April 26, 2021 after a battle with cancer. Born on April 27, 1947, Edgar was a lifelong Maryland resident. He attended St. Stephens School and graduated from Perry Hall High School. Edgar was drafted into the Vietnam War at the age of 18 and served our country for two years. After returning from war, he joined the Local Carpenters Union and was a card-carrying member for over fifty years. He loved hunting and fishing and was an active outdoorsman. He enjoyed colonial reenactment and volunteered as a blacksmith at Jerusalem Mill. Edgar and his wife Anna took a yearly trip to the Ft Frederick Market Fair, a week long reenactment and festival. He loved movies and would tell you the entire plot while you watched with him. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Anna Brockmeyer and two children, Matthew Brockmeyer (Mary Kate) and Anna Valvi (Suhas). He has three grandchildren, Wyatt, Casper, and Levi, whom he loved spoiling with hotwheels cars and donuts. He had 3 siblings, sisters Gloria and Rosie and Robert (deceased) and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 14, 2021 at 10am at MacNabb Funeral Home, P.A. 301 Frederick Rd, Catonsville MD 21228.
