Deborah Lorraine Wu of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on August 16, 2021 after more than a year-long battle with cancer. Debbie, as her friends called her, born on November 12, 1953, grew up in Norwood, Pennsylvania and graduated from Interboro High School. She went to work for The Insurance Company of North America, where she advanced through financial management positions and met her husband and father of her children. They moved to Cherry Hill, New Jersey to start a family, and soon after moving to Shamong, New Jersey, Debbie decided to become a full-time mother to her three young boys. Later in life, Debbie went back to school and earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting. Debbie was a regular at her church, an avid reader, enjoyed watching movies and visiting museums, but, above all, she lived for her children. Debbie is survived by her three children and their families: William, his wife Robin, and their children Becker and Oliver; Kyle, his wife Anastasiya, and their child Andrew; and Carey and his long-time girlfriend Catalina. She is also survived by her ex-husband, Bill, who remained close throughout the years, and her two sisters, Claudia and Laurie and their respective families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mildred. A memorial luncheon will be held outdoors at Carlucci’s Waterfront in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey on August 28, 2021, from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM. Friends are encouraged to please come join the family in celebration of Debbie's life. Proper safety measures encouraged.
