William Eugene Openshaw, Jr.

William "Little Billy" Eugene Openshaw, Jr. "Little Billy" was born October 11, 1969 and passed away suddenly at his home in Parkton on October 12, 2020. He is survived by his daughter, Brittany "Turkey" Openshaw and his sons Kaleb and Joseph Openshaw; Grand-daughter, Conner Tracy Newcomer; his mother, Beverly Openshaw and step-father Ron Kidd; brother Brandon Openshaw; Step-mother, Susan Openshaw; Aunts, Charleen Calp and Patti Price; he was preceded in death by his father, William "Billy" Openshaw, Sr., his son, Xavier Slade Openshaw and his cousin, Tracy Lynn Stewart; he is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Billy was a very hard working and kind hearted man who went out of his way to help those he cared for. He loved his dog, Duke and felt as though Duke had saved him. Billy had a heart of gold and was a devoted father, son, brother and friend. Billy loved country music, all things trucks, cooking and everything outdoors. He felt very close to the Native American Beliefs. He will be missed deeply by those who loved him.
