Carol Adams

Carol Adams, 81, of Rising Sun, MD passed away January 14, 2024.

Born August 21, 1942 in Havre de Grace, MD, Carol was the daughter of the late Charles C. Nickle and Oleva Bell (Rhodes) Nickle and devoted wife of the late Wallace (Wally) Adams. Carol graduated from the school of x-ray technology at Johns Hopkins in 1962. She worked as an x-ray technician for Harford Memorial Hospital and Glasgow Medical Center but spent most of her career working for Perry Point VA Medical Center where she retired after over 30 years of service. Carol received the Betty Crocker Award in high school and was passionate about cooking and supporting family and friends with food and love. She was an avid animal lover but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her wonderful family, especially her grandson, Adam.

She is survived by daughter, Leah Snider and her husband Thom of Columbia MD; grandson Adam Snider of Columbia MD; and two sisters Ruth Graybeal of Calvert, MD and Peggy Morrison and her husband Don of Perryville, MD.

A gathering to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Chesapeake Bay Golf Course at Rising Sun (Chantilly Manor Country Club) – 128 Karen Drive, Rising Sun, MD. Family and friends are invited to this gathering to share memories of Carol and Wally.
